Daubois XHN-101 is a setting mortar based on pure hydraulic lime from St-Astier (France), calibrated sand and colorants (optional). The hydraulic properties (hardens by reaction with water) of this lime enable the formulation of a mortar containing no cement, thus coming closer to the formulation of historic mortars. XHN-101's high lime content considerably enhances self-healing properties, durability (freeze/thaw and spalling) and shrinkage compared with conventional lime-cement mortar. For interior or exterior use, this mortar is specially formulated for the installation of masonry elements on historic buildings or for structures exposed to de-icing salts.
