Daubois mortars are available in 43 standard colors; 29 of these colors are based on gray mortar and the remaining 14 lighter colors are based on white mortar. A sample tongue-and-groove box is available for consultation to facilitate your choice. The advantage of factory coloring is that the user is assured of perfect consistency of the specified shade, from the first to the last masonry element installed.
Daubois also offers an unlimited choice of tints on special order; at the professional's request, we can match the color of our mortar to a brick, or simply to a color sample, so that the architect can obtain exactly the effect he's looking for. Coloring services are also used in masonry restoration or repair projects where it's imperative to match the new brick joint to one that time, sun and weather have discolored.
